A full-time opportunity has arisen for a Boatyard Assistant to join our busy team. 

Duties will be varied, but will include:

> Assisting the Marine Engineers

> Launching and recovering boats

> Cleaning boats

> General boatyard duties.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be willing to turn their hand to a variety of duties and learn new skills.  An interest or background in engineering will be an advantage.  You will be a competent tractor driver and able to launch boats and manoeuvre boats around our two boatyards.  You will be required to work weekends on a rota basis between April-October.

You must have a full, clean driving licence.

Hours: Standard working week from November – end March; 5/6 days including weekends from April – October

The successful applicant will receive a competitive rate of pay, which will be above the National Living Wage, and dependent on skills and experience.

An opportunity has arisen for an Admin Assistant to help with the smooth running of the business.  Duties will be varied and the successful applicant will need to have a flexible and helpful attitude.  Initially this is a part-time role, but could develop into a full-time position.

This position would suit someone who enjoys variety in their work; has a pleasant and helpful telephone manner; is efficient and reliable; and is able to work un-supervised.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

Answering the telephone and handling enquiries;

Managing the parts inventory;

Managing our Park and Launch customers;

General Admin duties.

You must be computer literate and be able to work off your own initiative.  Full training will be given on our management software.

Hours: Can be flexible; but will include weekends from May – September.
