Our main Park and Launch yard is contained in a secure compound and is the closest yard to the slipway. We carefully limit numbers to ensure we deliver a premium, safe and secure service to our customers.

Park & Launch in Pwllheli
Harbour Marine provides the most secure and efficient Park and Launch service in Pwllheli. You simply call us to let us know when you would like to launch your boat ….and call again when the fun is over and you wish to come back in. Boats and RIBs on our Park and Launch service are safely stored in one of our two secure compounds, overseen by 24 hour CCTV. Freshly fenced and gravelled for the 2024 season, and with multiple hosepipes, we offer a well presented and safe facility.
Our customers will testify that Park and Launch is the simplest way to enjoy boating and get the most use of your boat – all without damaging your boat, car or pride in the launching process.

Our Storage Yard
Harbour Marine’s secure Storage Yard maintains an enviable place within the Pwllheli Marina complex, allowing us to store your boat close to the slipway, making for easy launching and low wait times.
We also offer Winter storage.

Customer Retention
How does Park & Launch work?
We will ensure the launch and retrieval of your boat goes smoothly. Once you’ve tested your ignition, got your guests onboard and are ready to go, simply give us a call. We will let you know about the state of the tide and what time last retrieval is. Then when it’s time to come in, just call us when you enter the channel. We will retrieve your trailer and come and collect you from the slip way and return your boat to our compound. Simple.
What times of day is Park & Launch available?
From 1st April – 31st October, Harbour Marine is open seven days a week from 9am. Last retrieval time will depend on the state of the tide, which we will advise you on the day. We have tide times on the home page of our website.
Do I need to register my boat with Gwynedd Council?
Every vessel launching in Gwynedd must be registered with the Council and you must renew every year. To download Gwynedd Council’s registration form, click here. The fee for Park and launch customers for 2023 is £60.
What facilities are available?
We have multiple water points and hosepipes in the park and launch yard but recommend you keep your own set of muffs to flush your engine through. The yard is close to the toilets in the Marina and a short walk to Plas Heli, which serves fantastic meals and snacks with the finest view in North Wales.
Can I access my boat whenever I wish?
Between 1st April – 31st October we are open seven days a week from 9am to 5.30pm ish so you are welcome to access your boat at this time. The yard is locked over night. In the winter, we are open Monday – Friday.
Can my boat be waiting for me on the water?
Unfortunately not. You need to be in your boat when it is launched and retrieved. If you wish to stay in the Marina overnight, contact Hafan Pwllheli….or Plas Heli….and see if there is a berth available…and we can retrieve you the following day.
Where can I park?
You can park along the fence outside the yard. For your safety, and to ensure there is no damage to either cars or boats, no vehicles….other than launching tractors…are allowed in the yard.
Can I flush my engine through?
Absolutely! There are multiple hosepipes for customers to use. Please bring your own muffs or hose attachments as these always seem to go walkabout!
