Winter Storage
We know that many customers who enjoy boating in Pwllheli don’t necessarily have the facility at home to store their boat; a suitable towing vehicle or a trailer that is considered road-legal.
Harbour Marine Engineering has two secure compounds with 24 hour CCTV for boat storage. This provides our customers with peace of mind that their boat is safe.
We can also arrange for your engine or outboard to be winterised and de-winterised (and serviced if required). We want to make life easy for our customers, so all you have to think about is how to enjoy yourself on the water when the boating season starts again.

What dates does winter storage run from?
Winter storage runs from 31st October until 1st April.
How are boats stored?
Boats stored with us over winter are kept in one of our two secure compounds. It is up to individual boat owners to make sure they have got a good overall cover and to remove the bung from their vessel.
Can I access my boat over the winter?
Over the winter period we are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. You are welcome to access your boat during this time.
Can you launch my boat over the winter?
As a general rule, no. This is mostly because boats in the yard are winterised and therefore not able to go out on the water.
How secure will my boat be?
Both yards are covered by CCTV and locked. Our top yard is in the heart of the Marina’s compound with sea to one side and the Council’s storage compound to another.
